Well welcome to Informationism.org I'm having an edit war with myself at the moment about what this site should be - So now would be a great time to step on board!

What I'd like to say it can be is the following (although this may change in time):

In Short Informationism.org is (or can be) everthing that Wikipedia is not. If you don't want all the restrictions of that thing then come here!

1. What Informationism.org is or could be includes:

1.1 A paper encyclopedia or book
1.2 A dictionary
1.3 A publisher of original thought
1.4 A soapbox
1.5 A mirror or a repository of links, images, or media files
1.6 A free host, blog, webspace provider or social networking site
1.7 A directory
1.8 An indiscriminate collection of information
1.9 A crystal ball
1.10 Censored
1.11 Andrew Rutherford's personal website.

2 What the informationism community can be includes:
2.1 A battleground
2.2 An experiment in anarchy
2.3 An experiment in democracy
2.4 An experiment in rule making

So basically at this point do what you like!
