Although not known to be in any published dictionary the word Informationism is defined by some sources on the web as:

1. The use of information as a weapon.

2. Countering government propaganda.

3. Undermining Advertising.

Since these definitions only represent postmodern thought, this site aims to represent an analytic informationism, which may be defined as a person or group doing what promotes the interests of that person or group.
